Hoverflies mating. Wasn't too prepared for them, caught them with my on camera flash and a high ISO in the shade. Unfortunately no diffuser which has left some blown out parts...

Wow. Capturing them in flight is hard enough prepared, captureing a mating pair unprepared is just awesome. Great and interesting work. Love seeing their pose, where their legs are etc.

Unfortunately I haven't even found a mating pair yet, only single hover flies.
